If you have a ShopPay account and the email on your existing Shopify account is the same as the email on your ShopPay account you can sign into your existing Shopify account with ShopPay and don't have to create a password (it uses SSO from their ShopPay account).
ALERT: If you have more than one existing Shopify account with different email addresses, you will need to ensure you have signed with ShopPay into the correct existing Shopify account.
Example: If the email on your ShopPay account is the same as the email on your existing Shopify customer account (Advisors usually have both an Advisor and customer account and we migrated all of them), and you sign in with ShopPay, you will be signed into your existing customer Shopify account.
- If you have a ShopPay account and the email on your Shopify account is different from your ShopPay account and a Shopify account with that email address doesn't exist and you proceed to sign in with ShopPay, it will create a new Shopify account and you don't have to create a password.
